Self Love Sunday Vol. II

What does it mean to be a Goddess?

Goddess is a mindset, a way of life. Being a goddess embodies the idea of self love, self care, and body positivity.

Self love: The act of loving your body today, no matter what size, blemish or tone. You are beautiful in the skin you were born with and you do not have to change to an idea society has made to love yourself or be love. This is the first step to happiness! If you can find acceptance today, you with find love and happiness.

Self care: When was the last time you allowed yourself to pause you busy life and just meditate? Or treat yourself to a massage? How about a facial? Self care consists of listening to your body and taking action on what you hear. Sometimes, skipping a day at the gym was exactly what you body was asking for. But vise versa, starting a gym routine may be exactly what your body needs! Just make sure you do not ignore the signs your body shows you to provide it the care it so desperately needs!

BoPo: This idea of loving each individual body identity and replace self-hatred with positive optimistic energy. Being body positive is an over arching idea of self love and care combined. You learn to treat your own body with respect as well as every other individual who may be on a different chapter than your own. No matter the size, shape or color of another individual, you do not compare or tear down one another.
